Olde Golden Holiday Parade, December 9, 10:30am.
The classic holiday parade returns this year for one spectacular day with all of the festive favorites. The event will feature elves, marching bands, floats, Victorian carolers, antique cars, the Grinch, Buffalo Bill, and of course, Santa. The parade route runs along Washington Avenue from 10th Street to 13th Street starting at 10:30 a.m. After the parade, grab lunch at one of the many restaurants lining Washington Ave., or shop the galleries, boutiques and stores of colorful historic downtown Golden.
