Escape Room & Nature CSI for Tweens/Teens
The Hamiton Chapter of Izaak Walton League and Escape Goatz are partners in this FUN, educational program for tweens/teens ages 11 – 15 at a cost of only $5.00 per child thanks to grant funding.
The program begins with a “get to know each other” mingle game in a large party room and we split into groups with adult chaperones. Upstairs, the kids are divided into smaller groups to experience escape rooms with nature themed elements. Downstairs, the group in the large party room gains knowledge of animal tracks, variety and function of fur and feathers, scat and other animal signs. They will use the information learned and work together to solve a pretend “predator vs prey” scene….a Nature Critter Scene Investigation (CSI). The groups will then switch activities so they experience both the escape room and Nature CSI. During the last 15 - 20 minutes, participants enjoy snacks and share what they liked best about the program and make suggestions for future programs.
