Dallas Arboretum STEM Stop at the Library
Forget the traditional classroom—the Dallas Arboretum is bringing the wonders of science and nature directly to you. During this one-hour STEM Stop, the library will transform into a hands-on laboratory where the natural world meets scientific discovery. Staff from the Dallas Arboretum will be on-site with a featured "Science Program," providing all the tools and expertise needed to spark curiosity.
Dino Dig - Using prepared kits, guests will simulate how fossils are discovered and excavated at field sites. They will learn how paleontologists uncover fossil materials with tools and how fossil experts prepare fossils in a lab.
This program is part of SMART Summer and sponsored by the Dallas Arboretum.
