The tulips are already blooming at their site by the Waxahachie Civic Center, organizers said, saying, “Thanks to our obscure Texas weather, the tulips bloomed earlier than expected and are ready for picking.” Tulipalooza will be open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. daily through Sunday, March 19, with organizers encouraging people to turn out for what they describe as a “perfect spring break activity.” The festival benefits 13 DFW-based nonprofits.
