2023 Golden Rule Gala - "Destination Love: Tails in Transit"
Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate the unwavering dedication of animal transport volunteers and organizations that provide essential care and transportation for abandoned animals on their quest to find forever homes across the United States. "Destination Love" serves as a heartfelt tribute to the countless animals whose lives have been profoundly impacted by the incredible commitment of these volunteers and organizations right here in Texas. Each wagging tail and contented purr in their new forever homes stands as a testament to the power of love, compassion, and the transformative journey itself.
In addition to extending our heartfelt gratitude to these devoted volunteers, including members of the Southwest Animal Transport Team (SWATT), SPCA Transport, Averting CAT-astrophe, and Cats in the Cliff, we will be raising critical funds for Cat Matchers and Operation Roger, two exemplary pet transport organizations that make life-changing journeys possible for North Texas animals.
The Golden Rule Gala promises an enchanting atmosphere that mirrors the spirit of the cause. The beautiful Turner house, home of the Oak Cliff Society of the Fine Arts, will be transformed into a space filled with love, hope, and happy tales. Guests will be immersed in an ambiance that highlights the beauty of the journey—whether by wheels, wings, or hearts filled with love.
