Munger Place Historic District Wine Walk & Homes Tour
Join us for a tour of five historic homes in Munger Place on Saturday, April 20th from 2-6pm. Munger Place was established in 1905 and has the largest collection of prairie style homes in Texas (some say the country). This neighborhood has seen it's share of ups and downs, with urban pioneers in the 1970's seeing its potential and worked hard to win historic district designation to ensure the neighborhood shined once again. This gem of a neighborhood is a shining example of historic preservation and beauty.
Take time to enjoy the appetizers, architecture, and history at each home. Guests that are 21 years of age or older may enjoy a glass of wine at each home, hand-selected by Jimmy’s Food Store or The Wine Therapist. We give our guests the option of purchasing tickets to taste either our Standard or Premium wines. Each paid ticket holder will also receive a Munger Place wine glass, complements of Talulah & HESS, while supplies last. Standard Wine Walk tickets are $40 prior to April 13th and $55 on or after April 13th. Premium Wine Walk tickets are $70 prior to April 13th and $85 on or after April 13th.
You may pick up your tickets for the Wine Walk at the tour. Check in begins at 1:30 at 4939 Tremont St (studio on Collett). After picking up your tickets you may start your tour from any of the homes on our tour.
Wine tasting is only for those age 21 and older. If there is a question, proof of age will be required.
