Lunar New Year Celebration in Downtown
The entire community is invited to join us on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 12-4 pm for a Lunar New Year Celebration in Downtown Plano’s McCall Plaza.
We’re celebrating the year of the snake, with our best wishes for happiness and good fortune in the new year.
Event schedule:
Noon-4 pm: Year of the Snake 3D photo op; DJ on stage; Angel Touch Kitchen Halal Indonesian cuisine food truck; Girl Scout cookie booth
Noon-2 pm: Chinese calligraphy demonstrations
1-3 pm: Balloon artist; face painter
2-2:30 pm: Lion dance performance and photo opportunities
2:30-4 pm: Temporary tattoos
3-4 pm: Lucky Money (while supplies last)
