Using original, once-used objects that carry both personal and collective histories, she explores how memory fosters understanding leading to meaning. Guided by geometry and symmetry, the heart of her practice is a blend of aesthetics, process, content, and material—anchored by spirituality and a belief in memory’s ability to connect past, present, and future. Opening reception will be Saturday, July 12 from 7-9 pm and an artist talk will be from 3-5 pm on Sunday, July 20. Both events will be held at the Lewisville Grand Theater Art Gallery.
