Opening Reception for Between Two Points

Dallas, TX | Laura Rathe Fine Art is thrilled to announce Between Two Points, a dual exhibition featuring new works by Nina Tichava and Steff Ross. The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday, November 15 th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the gallery’s Dallas Design District location. Between Two Points explores the dynamic space between structure and spontaneity, reflecting the dialogue between two artists whose practices converge through precision, layering, and light. Both Tichava and Ross construct visually complex surfaces, finding connection in rhythm and texture. Rooted in the complex devotion to pattern and depth, New Mexico based Nina Tichava’s paintings merge her love of textiles, architecture, and the natural world through intricate layers of pigment, metallic leaf, and hand-painted detail. Her compositions balance precise repetition with organic movement, suggesting woven structures and shifting light. Through her meditative process, she captures the subtle beauty of transformation, a visual reminder of how countless small gestures can create something expansive and radiant. Chicago based artist Stef Ross views her practice through a lens of rhythm and expressive materiality. Combining paint, collage, and mixed media, Ross constructs dimensional compositions that pulse with vibrant color and depth. Ross’s bold, sculptural surfaces reflects a fascination with balance — where geometry meets gesture, and structure meets emotion Through layering, contrast, and composition, she examines the tension between control and release — the vital space between two points of expression. Between Two Points will be on view through December 20, 2025.
