Social Innovation Luncheon: Innovation and Collaboration in Local Media
For over 60 years, North Texans have turned to KERA as a vibrant destination for lifelong learning and community engagement. In the last two years, KERA has expanded its service to the community by taking over management of WRR 101.1, the classical radio station owned by the City of Dallas; acquiring and converting The Denton Record-Chronicle to a non-profit newspaper; and partnering with other news organizations in the region. Join Nico Leone, President and CEO of KERA, and Dodee Crockett, Managing Director, and Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Dallas and a member of KERA’s Board of Directors for a conversation on KERA’s innovative strategy to expand their mission and services through a portfolio of collaborations with other local non-profit and for-profit media organizations.
