Snaketoberfest 10
On October 5, 2024, 1836 Production and Johnny Ponderosa will present the 10th annual Snaketoberfest at Intrinsic Smokehouse and Brewery in Garland, Texas. Snaketoberfest features Dallas’ premier sidewinders Slow Moving Snakes, along with some of DFW’s finest hard-working honky-tonk, roots rock, y’allternative, bluegrass, and cosmic country bands, including Justin Pickard and the Thunderbird Winos, Ottoman Turks, and Tin Man Travis.
A portion of the proceeds from Snaketoberfest will benefit Foundation 45, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Foundation 45 funds counseling services for mental health, addiction, and suicide survivors, and for those whose lives have been impacted by the loss of a loved one to suicide. In addition to providing services, they work to break the stigma surrounding these topics.
Starting at high noon and lasting all dang day, Snaketoberfest is proud to be accompanied by the refined barbecue and house brews of Intrinsic Smokehouse and Brewery. Purchase of a $15 souvenir cup gets each person two beers and admission to the show. Kids and non-drinkers can refill their $5 souvenir cup with all the tea, lemonade, and water they like.
Snaketoberfest is generously supported by caring local businesses Fortunate Son Beer Garden and Pizza House, Whittling Wizard Tattoo, Tone Shop Guitars, and Intrinsic Smokehouse & Brewery.
