GRRROWLER’S Dachshund Derby at The Shacks Summer Kickoff in The Colony
The GRRROWLER’S Dachshund Derby at The Shacks Summer Kickoff includes live dachshund racing, rescue fundraising, dog-friendly vendors, sponsor activations, food, cold craft beer, and summer festival energy to The Shacks at Austin Ranch in The Colony, Texas.
Hosted by GRRROWLER’S Tap Room & Beer Garden, the event will feature racing dachshunds competing on a custom three-lane race course inside the GRRROWLER’S dog park, along with rescue organizations, giveaways, photo opportunities, awards, and family-friendly activities throughout the property.
Event highlights include:
• live wiener dog races on a custom three-lane track
• “Pretenders” races for non-dachshunds
• rescue fundraising benefiting participating organizations
• sponsor booths and giveaways
• photo opportunities and awards
• dog-friendly patio and park atmosphere
Hosted in partnership with The Colony Economic Development Corporation, Visit The Colony, Chewy VetCare, Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center (Plano), Altstadt Brewery, Dallas Doxies, Pampered Pooch Events, Cody’s Friends Rescue, and Duck Team 6 Street Dog Rescue.
The event is free for the public to attend.
