On Nov. 25, we’re helping you finish your holiday shopping with Small Business Saturday. The Downtown Plano Arts District is an historic, vibrant community of performing arts, galleries, event venues, unique shops and restaurants – and many of them are locally owned. Many of our downtown shops and restaurants will have special offers on Small Business Saturday, and we’ll add them to the list below as the date gets closer. So come on by, say hi, and let’s shop small together! **SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY SPECIALS** • A complimentary Downtown Plano canvas tote with purchase at select retailers (one tote per customer per purchase) • At Lyla's Clothing, Decor & More through Sunday, receive a complimentary peppermint champagne while you shop the special sale • At The Feathered Nest, sip a holiday-themed drink (one with and one without alcohol) and receive a special discount at the register • Legacy Portrait Painters is offering the chance to win a free 20x16" oil portrait on canvas painted from a live sitting by Gene Dillard (register in studio) • La Foofaraw will be offering a special discount at the register • Customers at Lemma Coffee Co. who purchase at least one retail bag of coffee and check in or sign up for rewards will be entered into the raffle to win an Aeropress Brew kit, a bag of coffee, and Lemma stickers • Plano Shopping Co-op will have a free kids storytime at noon • Professional photographer Kendrix Wesley will be taking free family portraits from 12-4pm.
