Quiet Hour w/ Austin Diaz
June 23 & 30 | 1pm-2pm | Drop-In $15 | Both $20
Join an hour long movement study in collective solitude at Arts Mission Oak Cliff. Quiet Hour will be a space free of verbal communication, a space free of judgment. The exploration will act as a sanctuary to reflect and ruminate – come and go as you wish. All are welcomed and we ask that you be mindful of the space you take up and other individuals’ solo experience. There will be an area to write, release, and rest as you go. The goal of this community offering is to share space with other individuals in the community without language, allowing our experiences through movement to share weight in one room for one hour. Open to all 18+, no movement background necessary.
Guidelines will be emailed and posted in the lobby upon entering. Please read carefully.
