After being diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy in 2019, Dr. Gregory Maassen turned to e-biking to support his
health, leading him to undertake a 4,685-mile journey from Washington, D.C., to San Francisco to raise awareness and
connect with the growing American e-bike community. Along the way, he saw how e-bikes can expand mobility and
empower communities, including veterans and individuals with disabilities. Now, as part of his latest 5,800-mile cross
country ride from Palm Beach to Los Angeles, Dr. Maassen will join us at UT Dallas to share his journey and present the
film, followed by a panel discussion.
