About Brittany Cobb:
Brittany Cobb is the founder of Flea Style and the author of the forthcoming book How to Style a Hat (available April 21, 2026). A creative entrepreneur and former lifestyle journalist, Brittany is widely recognized for redefining hats as a tool for personal style, confidence, and self-expression.
Rooted in a lifelong love of flea markets and vintage culture, Brittany grew up shopping at antique malls and open-air flea markets in California before immersing herself in New York’s iconic flea market scene in her early twenties. After returning to Dallas as a lifestyle journalist, she identified a gap in the market and launched what would become The Dallas Flea, now known as Flea Style, well before the rise of the shop-small movement.
What began as a side project, built with little capital and a strong belief in storytelling, quickly gained traction and evolved into a nationally recognized lifestyle brand valued at over $15 million, now spanning seven locations. In 2021, Brittany introduced The Original Hat Bar, transforming hat shopping into an interactive, expressive experience and solidifying Flea Style’s position as a leader in experiential retail. She also expanded the brand into hospitality with Heirloom Haul, a café and tearoom concept inside select Flea Style locations that complements the brand’s experiential approach.
Flea Style is thrilled to announce the upcoming expansion of its lifestyle brand with its 10th location in Laguna Beach, California. Mark your calendars for July 15, when the brand’s first West Coast destination will debut its signature experiential retail and hat bar concept only moments from the ocean.
Through Flea Style, Brittany has helped shift hats from a functional accessory to a deeply personal form of self-expression. Her work centers on individuality over trends, emotional connection over fast fashion, and style as a confidence-building tool—an ethos shaped in part by her own experience with melasma and lifelong relationship with hats.
Brittany now extends this philosophy into publishing with How to Style a Hat, a modern style guide and cultural manifesto encouraging people to dress with intention, confidence, and authenticity. Bridging fashion, entrepreneurship, and personal storytelling, her work positions her as a leading voice in experiential retail, creative leadership, and timeless personal style.
Based in Dallas, Brittany lives with her children, Landry and Barrett, and their rescue dog, Bowie.
