St. Cecilia Catholic School to Host Patrons Program Brunch Honoring Catholic Education Leaders
DALLAS, TX — November 10, 2025 — St. Cecilia Catholic School will host its annual Patrons Program Brunch on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in the St. Cecilia School Gymnasium with doors and the Silent Auction opening at 10 a.m. This event brings together community members to celebrate and support the mission of Catholic education.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Kathy Foley Prindible Excellence in Teaching Fund, the St. Cecilia Student Tuition Assistance Fund, the St. Cecilia Endowment Fund in honor of Msgr. Milam Joseph, and the Blue Ribbon School Initiative—all aimed at strengthening teaching excellence, student access, and the future of the school.
This year’s brunch will honor Mr. Mike Earsing, President of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, as the 2025 recipient of the Education is Freedom Award. With over 45 years of service in the Diocese of Dallas Catholic Schools, Mr. Earsing is recognized for his transformative leadership and lifelong commitment to Catholic education. Under his guidance, Jesuit Dallas achieved recognition as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and expanded its impact through groundbreaking academic and cultural initiatives.
St. Cecilia will also welcome Admiral Patrick Walsh, Ph.D., President of Cristo Rey Dallas School and a Jesuit graduate, as the keynote speaker. A retired U.S. Navy Vice Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Walsh continues to champion education, leadership, and service.
“Through the Patrons Program Brunch, we celebrate the educators and leaders who shape lives through faith and learning,” said Mrs. Estela Valdez, Principal of St. Cecilia Catholic School. “Their dedication reflects the heart of our mission—to form students as Saints and Scholars.”
