2025 Storylines Jazz Concert Series Valentine's Day Concert
International Jazz Pianist Milton Fletcher Jr joins the music and wellness community as a California native returning full circle to his roots in Texas. The Storylines Concert series garners a uniquely creative wow factor by infusing jazz & music therapy in a fresh and innovative way.
Performing live on the Japanese Shigeru Kawai Concert Grand Piano, Fletcher believes that every song tells as story. "My music is like a diagnostic test that brings to the surface the thoughts, memories and experiences that are affecting your well-being. Every person has a story. Join me for the Storylines Concert Series and let the message within the music bring healing and wellness to your story", says Milton. Jazz Enthusiasts and Wellness Enthusiasts are invited to join Milton Fletcher Jr at the 2025 New Years kick-off in Dallas, Texas on January 18, 2025 at the Kawai Music Hall. Tickets are required for this one of a kind, interactive music experience.
Professional Bio
Milton Fletcher Jr is an internationally known pianist and an alumnus of Berklee College of Music and the Monterey Jazz Festival. Fletcher is widely known as a pianist of the highest caliber with 14 published works and a performance resume that includes the Opera & Theater Madlenianun (Belgrade, Serbia), United States Embassy (Moscow, Russia), Moscow International Music House (Russia), Kennedy Center (Washington, DC), Jimmy Kimmel Show (Los Angeles, CA), National Public Radio (NPR Los Angeles, CA), BBC Radio (London, England), Monterey Jazz Festival (Noto, Japan), Blue Note (Milano, Italy), and the Blue Note (Tokyo, Japan).
Fletcher's 35 years of performance experience spans over 23 countries, accompanying jazz artists such as Carl Allen, Joshua Redman, Abe Laboriel, John Clayton, Bill Berry, Joe Lavano, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Clark Terry, Donald Harrison, Jackie McClean, Terry L Carrington, Nicolas Payton, Ray Drummond, Jon Faddis, Freddie Hubbard, Roy Hargrove, Eric Harland, Bobby Watson, Antonio Hart, Darren Barrett, Jevon Jackson, Warren Wolf, Terrell Stafford, Terence Blanchard and Lewis Nash.

The Shigeru Kawai Performance Hall is located down the hall from the Kawai Piano Gallery. Attendees may enter the performance hall directly from the parking lot. Parking is free. Signage will be posted.
The Therapy Guy will be performing on the top premier Japanese piano called the Shigeru Kawai Concert Grand Piano.
