Registration required. Classes take place at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. on Sundays, 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. Participants must bring their own face masks, weapon, and 50 rounds, and unload weapon in a bag/box. $20 range fee is not included in the voucher purchase. Certified instructors teach students about responsible gun ownership and law during a license to carry class
- What’s included in the class:
- 4–6 hours of classroom instruction teaching the student about the law, their responsibilities, non-violent dispute resolution, and more
- 25-question written test
- 50-round shooting qualification
- The class is designed only for those who are experienced at using the firearm. The students are required to demonstrate they are able to use a firearm safely and proficiently. The class does not teach the students how to shoot. Students who are not proficient with a firearm must take an Introduction to Handguns Classes first.
