Cat Showing & Wine Tasting in Castro Valley -- Sunday August 11, 2024, 12:00 - 4:00pm
Angus & Friends Cat Rescue has been invited to show our adoptable cats and kittens by the animal-loving owners/proprietors of TwiningVine Estate Winery, at their regularly scheduled wine tasting on Sunday August 11, 2024, from 12 noon until 4:00 pm.
Join us for wine tasting and meet some of our adoptable cats & kittens looking for a forever home! Bring your friends, and a picnic lunch if you'd like, and enjoy the surroundings at Castro Valley's only estate winery. Please note that this event will be held outdoors. If the weather is extremely hot on the day of this event, we may not be able to have our cats present.
Although we won’t be conducting on-site adoptions at this event, Deborah MacDonald, the Executive Director of Angus & Friends, will be present to provide information about any kitty you’re interested in adopting and to explain our adoption process.

- The wine and ambience are through TwiningVine Winery
- The cats and kittens are through Angus & Friends Cat Rescue
- We will be holding a raffle! Tickets, $5 each, will be available for purchase at the event. Please see our website for photos and information on our raffle prizes.
- There will be plenty of free parking
- Children may attend the venue, but for safety purposes they must remain with an adult 21+
- TwiningVine's price for Wine Tasting is $10 per person
- The winery does not serve food, but recommends you bring a picnic lunch with you, if you would like
- TwiningVine embraces a “leave no trace" policy and requests that you take all the items you brought in with you when you leave.

Angus & Friends Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue organization dedicated to helping feral and community cats.
