We are building a home for performers of spoken word, searching out new writers and bringing poets of note in from outside of our community. This edition of Found Poets features… Jamie DeWolf Jamie DeWolf is a performer, filmmaker, writer, live event producer, arts educator and circus ringmaster from Oakland. DeWolf started his performance career as an Oakland Grand Slam champion and quickly evolved his “raw and raucous” lyricism into a fast paced fusion of ferocious hip hop, fearless comedy, and hard hitting theatrical story-telling. He’s written and performed with inmates at San Quentin Penitentiary, won “Performance of the Year” by NPR’s Snap Judgment, and was voted “Best Poet” and “Best Filmmaker” by the East Bay Express.
