CIA Alumni Chef Takeover at The Grove with Ricky Moore
On the tails of a successful CIA Alumni Chef Takeover at The Grove dinner with award-winning chef, restaurateur, published author and early pioneer of culinary sustainability, Will Dissen, the CIA is happy to announce that the next featured chef is none other than Ricky Moore. On November 11th, guests can experience a four-course sustainable farm-to-table dinner at $90 per person + $60 optional wine pairing.
Chef Ricky Moore hails from New Bern, NC, but his influences come from farther afield (perhaps ‘asea’?). Chef Moore was awarded Best Chef: Southeast by the James Beard Foundation in 2022 for his Saltbox Seafood Joint in Durham, NC. In his restaurants, food truck, and his book, Saltbox Seafood Joint Cookbook, Ricky focuses on local ingredients and fresh seasonal seafood prepared perfectly. With the menu created in collaboration with their own chef de cuisine, Chef Deborah Mullin, and using the bounty of Copia’s gardens, this CIA Alumni Chef Takeover is a great opportunity to catch a bite of his unique style.
