Synergy: When the Outstanding Outperform
Two of the Bay Area’s leading choirs come together to create a sensational tour de force of seasonal choral music. Voci Women’s Vocal Ensemble and WomenSing, directed by Ofer dal Lal, present "Synergy," a varied program that will include works for double-choir, choir with solo, and other choral combinations. Works include Franz Biebl’s “Ave Maria,” Benjamin Britten’s “A Hymn to the Virgin,” and contemporary settings of “Lo, How A Rose E’er Blooming” and “In Dulci Jubilo,” among others. Tickets: $15-$40. (Also performed Dec. 8 in Berkeley.)
