Hidden History of Napa Valley with Author Alex Brown
Brown’s discussion will explore the lesser-known stories of the ordinary people who helped shape modern-day wine country. Topics will include the impact of slavery and reconstruction, Napa’s first Black school and churches, notable Black Napa leaders from the past, and twentieth century policies that impacted Black citizens. There will also be an opportunity for audience questions.
