Lara assembled her band, exploring an orchestral rock flair with Ali Gummess (violin/vocals) Karen Moran (electric viola/guitar), Kyle Stringer (bass guitar/synth) and Peter Craft (drums). Lara describes the band's music as "a lo-fi intergalactic soundscape, often starting with a mini 90’s Yamaha keyboard and electronic beats and gradually layering syncopated vocals, celestial synths, and fuzz bass juxtaposed with sprinkles of guitar."
