Join Our Secular Humanist Jewish Community As We Celebrate Tu B'Shvat with an Afternoon of Farm Activities, Brief Seder, and Potluck
Livermore, CA – Feb. 22 – Join Tri-Valley Cultural Jews, a Secular Humanist Jewish community organization, for a unique and engaging celebration of Tu B'Shvat, the Jewish "New Year for Trees." This event will connect participants with nature through a series of farm-themed activities, followed by a brief secular Tu B'Shvat Seder and a potluck meal.
The celebration will take place on Feb. 22 in Livermore. This family-friendly event is open to all who are interested in celebrating the themes of environmental stewardship, ecological sustainability, and community—core values that align with both the secular humanist perspective and the timeless Jewish tradition.

Farm Day Activities:
The day will begin with hands-on farm activities that celebrate Tu B'Shvat’s deep connection to nature. Participants will engage in fun and educational experiences.
Brief Tu B'Shvat Seder:
After the farm activities, attendees will gather for a Secular Tu B'Shvat Seder, where we will honor our connection to the environment.
Potluck Meal:
Following the Seder, the celebration will continue with a potluck meal where everyone is invited to bring a dish to share. For the potluck, we ask that participants celebrate the themes of sustainability and environmental stewardship by bringing their own plates, cups and utensils.
