Opera Film: THE PEARL FISHERS
In this opera, which marks his debut, Bizet delivers luminous, tender music with a subtle Oriental flavour. For this new production, featuring a cast of marvellous French singers conducted by the brilliant Victorien Vanoosten, choreographer Thomas Lebrun has created a staging that combines the grace of the Opéra national du Capitole Ballet, the magic of Antoine Fontaine's sets and the splendour of David Belugou's costumes.
