Presbyterian Day School 50th Birthday Celebration

The Presbyterian Day School (PDS) is a mission of the First Presbyterian Church of Napa. Licensed through the State of California in 1973, they are celebrating their 50th Anniversary of serving the Napa Valley community across the generations. On Sunday, April 16, they will be welcoming former students, their families and staff to worship at 10am in the historic sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church, and then to continue the celebration in the Fellowship Hall at 11am with lunch and festivities. All activities are free and open to the public. Information about enrollment in the preschool will also be available. Current enrollment demonstrates that over 90% of the families served by the Presbyterian Day School are frontline working families. From firefighters and paramedics to doctors and nurses to teachers and county and city employees—all come not only because of the convenient downtown location, but also because of the school’s longstanding commitment to offer affordable preschool and childcare. As it has gotten more expensive to live and work in Napa, the Presbyterian Day School has kept their rates lower in order to help families through financially trying times. The dedication and commitment of the staff make it possible for families to have a loving place for their children to be well cared for and for the parents to serve our Napa community in their various occupations.
