Smooth Jazz Series
City Center Bishop Ranch returns for its third annual Smooth Jazz Series, bringing free world-class live music to Alexander Square on three Saturday evenings this July. After drawing more than 5,000 attendees last summer, the free outdoor concert series has become one of the East Bay's most anticipated summer traditions.
Performances
Saturday, July 11 — Paul Taylor (saxophone) Chart-topping saxophonist Paul Taylor brings his signature sound to Alexander Square, with a career marked by a string of Billboard #1 hits and collaborations with a genre-crossing roster of musicians.
Saturday, July 18 — David Benoit (piano) Grammy-nominated pianist, composer and arranger David Benoit has spent four decades as one of the founding fathers of contemporary jazz.
Saturday, July 25 — Lee Ritenour (guitar) Grammy winner and celebrated guitarist Lee Ritenour brings a five-decade career spanning nearly every corner of the musical universe to close out the series.
The concerts are FREE and open to the public.
Dining Options Guests can reserve premium stage-front seating through a prix-fixe dinner at select restaurants, including Bamboo Sushi, LB Steak, Slanted Door, Meyhouse and Alora Social. Patio dining and casual lawn picnics are also welcome.
