Gina Mariko Rosales of Make It Mariko debuts the POC Food & Wine Festival in the Bay Area this May 2 through May 5 across town. POC Food & Wine is a festival celebrating the global majority in food, wine, music, and culture. More than just a food & wine festival, it is an event meant to build community, discover diverse talent, and enjoy a multi-sensory experience designed with exquisite detail and hospitality. Our ethos is to CREATE a community-minded, welcome space for everyone to learn about, explore, and enjoy fine wine, foods, and hospitality; CELEBRATE people of color in the food, wine, arts & entertainment industry and the innovation and diversity that already exists; CONNECT leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and artists with multicultural communities to inspire new, innovative, and creative collaborations. Friday, May 3, 2024 in San Francisco, CA 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM PT Sip & Scratch Industry Night Reception The Industry Night Reception is honoring all things wine & DJ culture, featuring world-famous DJ Shortkut & Lok, as well as Chef tastings, beverages, music, and intimate industry conversations. Attendance is limited to food, beverage, hospitality and music professionals.
