Sci-Fi Night in the Theater | Star Wars: A New Hope

It’s Sci-Fi Night at Chabot! Bring a friend and come up to Chabot for a one-night-only screening of Star Wars: A New Hope in our Theater! Come early to enjoy light bites & themed cocktails in this fun, after-hours date night at the museum. Plus, check out our NASA Ames Visitor Center and AstroLight exhibit, open late just for this event!
Please note that this event takes place in the Spees building only. The Dellums building, including the Co-Lab exhibit hall, will be closed to the public.
Featuring the SF Cantina Band
SF Cantina Band
The SF Cantina Band started roaming the streets and bars of San Francisco’s Mission District on Halloween of 2009. Since then, they’ve also performed at wretched hives of scum and villainy like Foreign Cinema, CellSpace, Public Works, How Weird Street Fair, PianoFight, and the streets of New Orleans.
They are trained in the ways of the Force as well as the clarinode, bithjo, womp bass, mandoccordian, violion beam, Hutt flute, Hothenspiel, turbo-tuba, and krayt horn.
