Rocks and Gems!
The geological formations around Napa Valley are as impressive as they are varied. Geologist Dean Enderlin will guide us through a number of local types of rocks, minerals, and gems, teaching us about how they're formed, where to find them, and how to identify them. Have any rocks you're curious about? Bring them in and we'll find out what they are!
Please remember that we have limited parking, as we share our lot with Westwood Hills Park, which is popular on the weekends. We suggest you come early if you'd like to avoid parking on the street. There is also extra parking on Thompson Ave near Connolly Ranch.
We have a small, enclosed space here at the Center. This is an indoor event, and if you're feeling unwell or coughing frequently, we would ask that you please wear a mask or reconsider your reservation for the wellness of our other guests and volunteers.
