Carquinez Village Presents: End of Life Decisions
Barbara Endahl, a medical social worker and Jason Buckingham, an estate planning attorney, will be the featured speakers addressing “End of Life Choices,” for the Carquinez Village Speaker Series. The program will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at the Benicia Public Library, 150 East L St. in Benicia.
This thoughtful discussion will cover how an individual can plan ahead and make sure their wishes are known. The presentation will focus on understanding options for care and comfort later in life. Guidelines will cover how an individual can share their wishes with family and loved ones. Additionally, steps an individual can take to plan for future healthcare decisions and death will be reviewed.
Engdahl, has been a medical social worker for more than 40 years, Engdahl, a Village member, has worked in hospitals, clinic settings, in home care and with hospices. She has been a volunteer with Compassion and Choices for almost 10 years and is a volunteer for Hospice East Bay.
Buckingham has worked in Benicia, Solano County and the Greater Bay Area since 2005. His practice helps clients to get their affairs in order with services to cover their estate planning needs.
The program is free and open to the public. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
