Livermore goes green! Join Celtic band Charmas, with hometown singer-guitarist Patrick Russ and Livermore High alum Elise Ferrell, for a rare celebration of Irish folk music — rowdy, beautiful, and terribly funny.
Performing across the San Francisco Bay Area since 2013, Charmas blends melodic fiddle, spry Irish flute, warbling whistles, rich vocal harmonies, and a driving rhythm section into an immersive Celtic concert experience. Their two albums, Songs of the Sea and Stark Raving Celtic, reflect a deep love of Irish musical tradition, maritime ballads, and the joyful chaos of folk sessions done right.
For this special St. Patrick’s Day concert, we will take a musical journey through the Irish peoples' history, from 18th century in Ireland through modern times in America. The show will feature lively traditional favorites, spirited instrumental sets, and select Celtic-rock classics that only get better with age — crafted for listening, laughing, and keeping our local leprechauns on their toes.
