    09/28/2024 10:00 AM 09/29/2024 05:00 PM America/Boise AANV Open Studios/ local artists/ PARALLAX JAZZ STUDIOS I'm excited to have my studio, Parallax Jazz, be a part of 2024 Open Studios! I'll be exhibiting etched glass made from salvaged materials and recycled windows, from 100 year old dairy farms in Pescadero, California, to homes in Napa Valley dating over 120 years old, to piano covers found in barns in Grants Pass Oregon. I gather them and then etch each one by hand with a Foredom flexi-shaft with diamond burrs and grinders. Then some of the etchings are painted with acrylics and other paints. Each one takes hours and is individually created over days/ weeks/ months.
