Union Square in Bloom Mother’s Day Concert & Bloom Gown Reveal in the Plaza

Celebrate Mother’s Day in full bloom at Union Square with a lively salsa concert featuring Los Kimberos, accompanied by free dance lessons. The first 220 moms will receive a gift. Enjoy Nucha Empanadas and a spritz bar from Tyler Florence’s Miller & Lux Provisions. Adding to the excitement will be a couture fashion show, showcasing local designer Colleen Quen’s exquisite Bloom 2024 Couture Gown inspired by the Dahlias, San Francisco's official flower, representing the city’s grace and allure with hair styling sponsored JROLAND Salon, fashion show directed by Pande Production’s Eddie Cotillon, a special appearance by former Miss California, Catherine Liang, and Fabric sponsored by Britex Fabrics. Union Square in Bloom 2024 is presented by the Union Square Foundation, Union Square Alliance, and Amazon in partnership with the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development, the Office of Mayor London N. Breed, Community Challenge Grants, and the San Francisco Travel Association, and Macy's as a Platinum sponsor. Union Square has something for everyone from tea services, to dining experiences, to entertainment options. Families and loved ones alike are invited to take the Bloom Passport around the district to explore 40 floral installations and 48 Bloom cocktails at participating Union Square bars, restaurants, retail establishments and hotels. In honor of Mother’s Day, the public is invited to return to Union Square, where we come to celebrate life’s greatest moments.   A social media contest — "Celebrating Life’s Greatest Moments in Union Square" — will also be part of the event. Ten of the most creative entries will win a gift bag filled with goodies from IT'SUGAR.
