Celebrate freedom at Vallejo's 32nd Annual Juneteenth celebration. The event takes place at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park downtown at Mare Island Way and Capitol Street behind JFK Library. The festival features a large number of exhibitors and attracts nearly a thousand visitors who come to enjoy vendors selling merchandise and food, activities for children, live music on stage and other entertainment. The event also features nonprofit and for-profit organizations and businesses, entrepreneurs, and others information about healthcare and wellness services and programs, free health screenings, financial planning for banking, retirement and life insurance, homeownership, educational opportunities, job training and employment, small business development, and many other programs and services.
