Visiting Chef Series at FYR: Jorge Guzman
Our Visiting Chef Series is a five-part culinary extravaganza that takes guests on a remarkable journey through global flavors. Returning in May 2024, our very own Chef Sebastian La Rocca will collaborate with a renowned chef from around the world each month to curate an extraordinary dining experience like no other.
The Visiting Chef Series will feature a lineup of internationally acclaimed culinary masters, each bringing their unique expertise and creativity to the kitchen. Guests can indulge in a six-course meal, with LaRocca and the visiting chef each contributing three innovative dishes.
July's visiting chef is A Yucatán native, Jorge Guzmán, who has been recognized as a three-time finalist by The James Beard Foundation, has earned "Chef of the Year" by local media, a Food & Wine "Top 10 Restaurant of the Year" and has made the list of “50 Restaurants We’re Most Excited About” by The New York Times. He has also been featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. Sueño is inspired by the traditions and culture of Mexico’s burgeoning culinary scene, and pays homage to those challenging norms south of the border.
