Storytime with Author Miranda Kogon Montoya
Petunia Moves Again follows a young chipmunk whose family migrates instead of hibernating like other chipmunks. The idea was inspired by my Miranda's own childhood and the many times her family moved to new places.
Dr. Miranda Kogon Montoya is an educator and award winning author who hopes to inspire children and encourage resilience through her writing. Miranda focuses her work on supporting fellow educators and caregivers in helping children build academic and social-emotional skills. Miranda hopes her stories will be a comforting resource for kids. Through her writing, she wishes to encourage readers to see each change as a step toward discovering their own strengths and the unique opportunities waiting to be discovered.
