The Borgen Project- Information Session (20-Min)
This is a brief information session for community members interested in fighting global poverty. We will have refreshments and snacks during the session and hope to raise awareness and mobilize interested constituents to reach out to their representatives. The Borgen Project also offers volunteer opportunities, which we will be discussing in the last half of the meeting and providing further information. All are welcome!

About Us-
We fight global poverty by enabling people to help themselves. The Borgen Project is an innovative, national campaign that is working to make poverty a focus of U.S. foreign policy. It’s easy to generalize that fighting poverty is simply sending food and bottles of water, but we are fighting for permanence. One well can provide hundreds of people with access to clean water, and one call to Congress from a single constituent represents 100-200 constituents who feel similarly.
