The Wildwoods Complex harmonies, whirling layers, and a special “blend of herbs and spices” - this is how the Lincoln Journal Star’s Best Band of 2022 describes The Wildwoods' particular brand of American roots music. On Saturday, January 27th, The Wildwoods will be the featured act of the first 2024 coffeehouse concert sponsored by the Columbus Folk Music Society. Prior to the Wildwoods taking the stage at 8pm on Saturday, January 27th at the Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Avenue, there is a full two-hours of additional folk music programming to enjoy! Finally, at 7:45 pm, the audience will be invited to join in a brief folk music sing-along as a reminder of what is at the heart of folk music - music for the people made by the people. A donation of $15 at the door is suggested, $10 for CFMS members.
