Germania Columbus Oktoberfest

Come celebrate Columbus's oldest Oktoberfest. Located in the historic Brewery District, Germania Singing and Sports Club Society will be hosting their 65th annual Oktoberfest September 16, 17, and 18. We will have all the traditional German food, music, and fun.

Oktoberfest will run Friday September 16 from 5pm to midnight, Saturday September 17 from 3pm to 1130pm, and Sunday September 18 from noon to 8pm.
 
The traditional food menu includes Bratwurst, Pork Schnitzel, Sauerkraut, Pretzels, Cream Puffs, and Strudel. Guest can enjoy a variety of local beers from Royal Dock, Wooly Pig, and Great Lakes, and some of Germany's favorite Paulaner and Hofbrau.

Germania's Hauskapelle (band) will play traditional German fest songs on Friday and Saturday night. Friday night's headliner is Route 161 Happy Wanderers and Saturday night will feature Frank Svet Munich Express. Germania's Männerchor and Damenchor along with other local German choirs will perform on Sunday afternoon. Following the choirs, there will be a performance from the Worthington Civic Band.

Tours of Germania Haus and the history behind the club will be available Saturday and Sunday afternoon. For families, kid's activities and games will be available Saturday from 4pm to 7pm and Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm

Oktoberfest is open to the public and admission is free. Parking will be available at the Grange Insurance garage (600 S. Front Street) for $3.
