American Heritage Cookout Hosted by America's Floor Source
America's Floor Source, in partnership with Mohawk Flooring, will host a free community event celebrating the launch of the Hometown Hero, a program created to recognize Central Ohio residents who demonstrate extraordinary community involvement or simply go above and beyond in their time and commitment to others.
The free, family-friendly event will center around a cookout theme, with burgers and hot dogs, raffles for prizes including a Big Green Egg smoker and two tickets to a Columbus Crew home game in September, free swag, a face-painting station, live music and games. Guests can also stop by for free flooring consultations and register a Hometown Hero nomination on-site.
Anyone who lives or works within America's Floor Source's 60-mile Central Ohio service area may nominate a Hometown Hero. Nominations opened August 17 and will be accepted through September 13, 2026, with the winner selected and announced on September 28. The winner will receive 750 square feet of flooring (any style except hardwood) from Mohawk Flooring, along with free installation from America's Floor Source—a prize value totaling $7,300.
