Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
While not a religious holiday, many Christians use the day to reflect on freedom and give thanks for God's blessings upon our nation. Christians can celebrate the Fourth of July with gratitude for both physical and spiritual freedom. Our focus should be on our freedom from the “bondage of sin” and our dependence on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, a gift from God. Our celebration should include gratitude for our past as we look to the future in faith and pledge our allegiance to God. Take the opportunity to thank God for the peace He has provided to our family, community, and nation. Join us on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 2:30 pm at Zion Baptist Church, 801 Washington St. When we serve God, we are blessed with His love, peace, and joy.
