City Baptist Jubilee Choir Union
Greetings In the Name Of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
The City Baptist Jubilee Choir Union invites you to our monthly Union session on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 2:30 pm at Trinity Baptist Church, 2521 Richland St, Columbia, SC 29204.
Join in our fellowship, embrace our ancestral fathers' heritage, and further this plentiful endowment by actively pursuing the “shape note” Jubilee and the Meter Hymn.
Many of our lives have been influenced and shaped by Jubilee, Shape Note, Spiritual, Gospel, and Meter Hymn singing passed down from our forefathers. It was the fabric of their being from slavery time, even until now, for some of us. We celebrate Black History Month, enjoy an afternoon of powerful vocal harmonizing, and become a part of our history.
