Mrs. Mitchell is an active member and Lay Servant of Saint Stephen UMC in Orangeburg, SC, where the Rev. Kenneth Carter is the pastor. She is married to Mr. Maurice Mitchell and they are the proud parents of two adult children. Mrs. Mitchell is a retired public school teacher and an Alum of Claflin University and South Carolina State University. She is a licensed Realtor and is currently employed with the Moore Group, a division of the Litchfield Company in Orangeburg, SC.
