Donation Day at Irmo Library
The Friends of the Irmo Branch Library, 6251 St. Andrews Road, will accept donations of used books on
Thursday, Feb. 22, from 2-5 p.m.
Books may be dropped off curbside at the side entrance to the library, where Friends volunteers will
assist in unloading. Or you may bring books to the library’s Mungo Room.
The library does not accept CDs, VHS tapes, magazines/journals, encyclopedias, dictionaries, text books over
5 years old, travel and computer books more than 3 years old, Readers Digest condensed books, or
moldy, damaged or ripped books. Due to storage limitations, we reserve the right to reject donations
that we cannot use.
PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF DONATIONS AT THE LIBRARY ANY TIME OTHER THAN THE DESIGNATED
DONATION DAYS & TIMES.
Donations supply both the Friends Book Store inside the library and the twice-yearly Friends Book Sale.
A non-profit, volunteer organization, the Friends support, promote and help fund the Irmo Branch
Library. For more information email the Friends at [email protected].
