On Saturday August 13th, at 11:30 am, 150 book bags with school supplies will be given away. Location: 2000 Cotton Grove Rd. Lexington, NC 27292. Food will be free of charge, and will be catered by Kitchen Konect. Menu items include Fish, Coleslaw, and Baked Beans. In addition, all families in need will have a chance to qualify for a free tablet, with free Wi-Fi up to two years. Free tablet rules and qualifications; must receive government assistance, either EBT or Medicaid. Must have valid ID, and $25 registration fee.
