4th of July Celebration on Lake Murray
Fireworks DO NOT launch from the park sites at the dam. The best viewing location is from a boat.

Important Notice: The Annual Patriotic Boat Parade on Lake Murray will not take place this year due to the construction at the dam.
Please note that the construction on the Lake Murray Dam towers will impact the number of available parking spots on the Lexington side. Dominion Energy has instated new safety protocols for visitors.
- Pedestrian access will no longer be permitted at the Lexington side recreation area.
- Visitors must use their vehicles to enter the park during operating hours from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. weekdays, and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on weekends.
- IF YOU WISH TO WATCH THE FIREWORKS FROM THE DAM PARK SITES, YOU MUST ALREADY BE IN THE PARK PRIOR TO 8PM! NO GUESTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER AFTER 8PM!
- When the parking lot is full, no additional visitors will be permitted to enter. Visitors will not be allowed to wait for a parking space outside the gate or on North Lake Drive due to the traffic congestion this creates.

Important Information
• All normal fees will apply at the park sites, all boat launching sites, and Marinas on Lake Murray.
• The fireworks are funded through CCLMC’s efforts at the Taste of Lake Murray event each year and private donations!
• Should thunder and lightning occur and cause a postponement, the fireworks will take place on Sunday, June 30.
