The Willamette Valley's own community orchestra will present Brahm's Symphony No. 2, as well as the high-spirited "L'italiana in Algeri Overture, by Rossini, and "Polovstian Dances," by Borodin. We encourage you to spend an afternoon with us to immerse yourself in the beauty of music. There will be a pre-concert talk to learn more about the program at 3:30. Come meet one of our Artistic Director candidates, Mark Stanek.
Dates/Times: Sat., June 11 at WAHS, 7 p.m. and June 12 at Ashbrook Independent School in Corvallis, 4 p.m. Tickets are available at WillametteValleySymphony.org and at the door. Children under 18 are free, adults $20; seniors $18, if you bring a youth, your adult ticket is free! For safety, WVS is asking that audience members be vaccinated and to please wear a mask.
